We covered 900kms from Brisbane to Sydney in our little Hyundai rental.

Not the best weather for our first day as we visited Byron Bay, Ballina, Yamba and Coffs Harbour, but we still had fun exploring!

We stopped off in a lovely little town called Port Macquarie in a cool hostel called Ozzie Pozzie, and had very nice dinner there that night (more on that later).

So we both got food poisoning from that lovely dinner.... 😂

Lucy was up all night feeling with it and I was just starting my symptoms in the morning with 400kms to drive in our car... The first hour and a half were tough and filled with nausea, so had to pull over and lay on the grass for a while 🤮

Luckily after "expelling" the sickness at the roadside, the rest of the drive was pretty smooth sailing 😅
