Did a long walk along the peninsula through Point Nepeane National Park to Fort Pearce with Lucy's Auntie Anne Marie.

Saw an Echidna.

Took in the coastal views.

Saw the area where Prime Minister Harold Holt went missing in the 60s, and spurred Australia's biggest land/sea search effort to date.

Saw the guns which fired the first shots of WW1 on a German cruise ship attempting to leave Melbourne as the war was announced.

Walked around the fort there and explored the tunnels.

Then we walked around to see the area where all the migrants were quarantined upon entry to Australia up until the 1970s.

Clothes were incinerated here.

The old pier they arrived on.
