Arrived off the night bus at 5AM and took a Tuk Tuk to our hotel (obviously full of energy π).

Arrived at the hotel and met a few of the pets!

Then we got some breakfast/coffee and went to visit the APOPO mine defusal tour!
Here we got to meet African Giant Pouch Rats who are trained to pin point and identify landmines and explosives in the ground without triggering them for safe disposal.

They've cleared over 2.8mil square meters of mine fields left over from the wars in Cambodia and have helped dispose of over 1500 landmines with a team of 60 "hero rats" β€οΈ.
We also got to meet one first hand!

Then we went to chill and read books in a nice cafe/book swap.

Found the main pub street which randomly had slinky's and rubix cubes dangling all the way along.

Next we explored the old market and a Cambodian crafts market where people injured in landmine accidents were selling their crafts.

Here we tried avocado icecream which was delish.

I also finally bought myself one of the Cambodian football shirts everyone is wearing here π

Our for a nice dinner to finish off the day!
