Caught the train from Sydney. Arrived at Lucy's cousin's house and checked out their stables! Had a Chinese takeaway for dinner and chatted into the evening.
Sydney - Day 10
Gym with a view to start the day. Walked around town and went to a Chinese art gallery. China town for lunch. Walked across the harbour Bridge afterwards. Walked around north Sydney including Luna park and a rainforest garden with views of the harbour Bridge.

Sydney - Day 6
Went to all the Saturday markets we could find - kings cross, Carriage works, glebe and Sydney fish market. Ate lunch in the park Spontaneous trip to the Australia vs New Zealand rugby match and saw the haka in person! Chatted to pals again in the hostel at night over a few beers.
Sydney - Day 5
Started the day with another workout at Bondi beach gym and then chilled at Bondi beach all day. We met some people at the hostel that night and chatted for a while.

Today we took the ferry to Manly Beach! Got a snickerdoodle cookie from another viral cookie store Lucy "stumbled upon".

Today we went to Bondi Beach! The water was such an amazing shade of blue - very icy blue. Started the day off with a workout at Bondi Street's Gym. Chilled on the beach the rest of the day! Got ice creams on the way home. Chilled at the hostel for the remainder of the night.

Dropped the car off to avoid parking fees and got a coffee in town. It was super cold when we arrived in Sydney and we knew it would be similar weather in Melbourne, so we dedicated the day to shopping/thrifting through the city for an extra pair of trousers or jumper each. Gold Coast Road Trip
We covered 900kms from Brisbane to Sydney in our little Hyundai rental. Brisbane - Day 12 (final day!)
We just chilled at our favourite city beach spot for the day reading books and got ourselves some vv nice ice cream! Also saw a pretty big spider which was exciting - not venomous though
Brisbane - Day 11
Went up Mount Coot-tha for the views over Brisbane. Walked back through the gardens, where we saw iguanas, turtles and our first Aussie spider. Then we met up with our Airbnb friends Anri & Liat for a repeat of the fried chicken from day 5 and a night walk through the city.

Walked around the shops in town. Went to the Queensland museum. Played cards and had a pint to escape the rain showers! Then went to The Indian Room for dinner which was luuuush.
Brisbane - Day 9
Took the ferry to Morton Island! Where the Scooby Doo movie was filmed. We saw more hump back whales on the way over:) Salads for lunch Saw pelicans!
Brisbane - Day 8
Workout with pancake. Walked around our local park. Stumbled upon a big BBQ smoke house, naturally had to indulge. Double cheese brisket burger and beef tacos. Out for a pint and played some cards before going to the cinema for the new Deadpool and wolverine film.
Brisbane - Day 7
Woke up early and went for a jog along the river. Hung out at South Beach all day catching a tan and reading our books. We went to get huge filled deli sandwiches for lunch. Double date to "Eat Street" for dinner with our friends Anri & Liat who we met in our AirBnb and came on the hike with us.
Brisbane - Day 6
We went whale watching! We saw humpbacks, turtles and jellyfish. We accidentally stumbled on the place where The Beegees grew up and had calamari on the sea front:)
Brisbane - Day 5
Got cookies from the viral Brooki Bakery - red velvet and biscoff. Went around Museum of Brisbane and Art Gallery Got the best korean fried chicken we've ever had - soy ginger, salted and sweet/spicy.

Chilled out at Streets Beach all day topping up the tan. Kettle bell 300 workout with our Airbnb host.
Brisbane - Day 3
Walked round city gardens and saw iguanas. Built our own frozen yogurt pots. Walked across Story Bridge to Kangaroo Point to watch the sunset and had steak frites for dinner!
Brisbane - Day 2
Hiked up Mount Tibrogargan in the Glass House Mountains with our AirBnb host and two other guests. Went to Mooloobaba beach for a swim and lunch after the hike - roast chicken rice paper rolls and Bahn Mi sandwiches.
Brisbane - Day 1
Opening ceremony of "River Fire" festival with Air Force fly-by show and fireworks display. Burritos for dinner Electric scooters home through the city.
Day in London
6km run down to the Thames from our hotel. Italian deli sandwiches for Lunch. Walk along South Bank and Borough Markets. Used a free gym pass for showers before the plane.
